چکیده
019 pityriasis rosea, Sjogren’s syndrome, subacute cutaneous lupus erythematosus, tinea corporis, erythema gyratum repens (EGR) and erythema annulare centrifigum. These can be differentiated by laboratory investigation and histopathological analysis. Specifically recurrent circinate erythematous psoriasis (Bloch), though clinically similar, is characterized by the presence of histopathological Kogoj’s spongiform pustule formation. Clinical feature of EGR is characteristic and shows rapidly migrating erythema composed of concentric rings forming a wood-grain pattern. Furthermore, the patient had no evidence of internal malignancy. Thus we excluded the diagnosis of EGR. Erythema annulare centrifugum was excluded by histological findings showing no coat-sleeve-like mononuclear cell infiltration.

Sir, Annular pustular psoriasis (APP) is a rare form of psoriasis characterized by gyrate, annular lesions with an erythematous, scaly, pustular margin (1). Although usually generalized, in some instances it appears as a localized form (2). We herein report a case of APP localized to the dorsa of feet of a 23year-old woman. She had a 4-year history of similar lesions on the same area, but there...

General pustular psoriasis (GPP), an extremely rare form of psoriasis first described in 1910 by Leo Ritter von Zumbusch, is characterized by an abrupt onset of widespread erythematous lesions followed by superficial yellowish, u...

BACKGROUND Psoriasis is an immune-mediated disease typically associated with cutaneous neutrophilic infiltration and Munro microabscesses. Interleukin (IL)-8 is one of the main neutrophil-attracting chemokines. Although keratinocytes have traditionally been considered to be the principal source of IL-8 in psoriasis, we present data that suggest that cutaneous lymphocyte associated antigen (CLA)...
متن کامل[Approaches to the dermatopathologic diagnosis of figurate lesions].
Both clinical and pathologic findings must be considered when diagnosing figurate skin lesions, which are often seen in routine practice. Although a skin biopsy may sometimes be diagnostic, more often the information provided is nonspecific. In an attempt to offer an approach to diagnosing these dermatoses, we have classified annular lesions according to the presence of lymphocytic, neutrophili...
